About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is focused on prospecting into the Global 2000, with a heavy emphasis on North American enterprises. You will be responsible for driving the early stages of the sales cycle by generating qualified meetings and opportunities for our Account Executives. You will be the first point of contact for some of the most exciting identity organizations in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events to engage executives in Security, IT, Risk, and Compliance roles.

  • Engage with target accounts within the Global 2000 to personalize outreach with a compelling value proposition.

  • Qualify prospects against Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria, focusing on organizations with complex identity, access, and compliance needs.

  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to build a pipeline in priority verticals (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Energy, Technology, Manufacturing).

  • Secure high-quality meetings and demos for Account Executives, ensuring seamless handoffs.

  • Track all prospecting activities and insights in HubSpot, maintaining data integrity and pipeline visibility.

  • Continuously refine messaging to align with prospect challenges and evolving industry trends (e.g., zero trust, digital identity, AI security).

 

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a Sales Development, BDR, or Inside Sales role (cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS preferred).

  • Proven ability to prospect and secure meetings with senior executives in Global 2000 accounts.

  • Familiarity with identity, access management, or security technology (experience with SailPoint, Okta, Ping, CyberArk, or similar a plus).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to C-level executives.

  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a hunter’s mindset and a resilience to thrive in a high-activity environment.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft, etc.) a bonus

 

Success Metrics

  • Number of qualified meetings booked with Global 2000 executives.

  • Pipeline value created (sourced opportunities).

  • Activity metrics (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, event follow-ups).

  • Conversion rates from outreach to qualified opportunity.
